Synopsis:
Web 3.0 is the next evolution of the internet, and it promises to revolutionize the way we interact with information, data, and each other. In this webinar, we will explore the history of the internet and how it has evolved into the current state of Web 2.0. We will then delve into the key features of Web 3.0, including decentralization, blockchain technology, and artificial intelligence.
Through this discussion, we will explore the potential benefits and challenges of Web 3.0, including its impact on privacy, security, and innovation. We will also examine some of the application cases of Web 3.0, such as decentralized finance, CBDC, Stablecoin and the metaverse.
This webinar will provide valuable insights into the present and future of Web 3.0.

About the speaker –
Emil Chan is a FinTech evangelist, digital transformation consultant, startup mentor, EMBA adjunct professor, and columnist with extensive experience in cross-border financial system design and operations, ranging from the banking industry to emerging Web3 and DeFi business strategies.
Lawrence Chu is the Co-Founder & Chairman of Venture Smart Financial Holdings Limited (“VSFG”). VSFG is a digital wealth management platform based in Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai and is focused on alternative and other new investment opportunities. VSFG is Hong Kong’s first Securities and Futures Commission (“SFC”) approved virtual asset manager, and launched the first cryptocurrency fund in Hong Kong since June 2020.
